Aymeric Jouon

"I am the founder of the company I Clean My Sea. An oceanographer by training, I worked for five years in research (over 500 citations) and eight years in the private sector. I was in charge of a pollution control vessel for four years. I am Director of Hydro-Cote, a firm developping innovative services in the marine environment. The sea is my livelihood and my playground. Fighting against the invasion of plastics at sea is the best way to act effectively to preserve the marine environment... for my children."

Marvin POIRIER

"I'm responsible for the web development side of the I Clean My Sea project. I chose to join this project because it's important that we take action against our negative impacts on the planet. We need to make it known so that it can be remedied as quickly as possible. The oceans need to be cleaned up; we all notice it when we go near the sea and rivers."

Alex MARQUOIN

"I'm part of the group responsible for the marine waste tracking feature within ICleanMySea. Today, more than 8 million tons of plastic waste end up in the oceans each year and are the cause of countless marine species extinctions, which is why I got involved in this project."

Hugo LEBRIS

"I'm part of the group responsible for the marine waste tracking feature within ICleanMySea. Hugo COSTECALDE

"I'm part of the group responsible for the marine litter tracking feature within ICleanMySea. Cleaning up the oceans is particularly important to me because I'm a fishing enthusiast, and far too many marine species are dying from ingesting plastics at sea."

Hugo COSTECALDE

Lisa

"I'm in charge of developing the I Clean My Sea project's website. I chose to join the project to support its mission to clean up the oceans. As a sea lover, I've often been shocked by the amount of plastic I see flowing through rivers to reach the sea and the images of marine animals suffocating from this waste. 1,400 marine species are threatened because of our plastic, and I think it's important to take action against this."

Lisa MOMAS

20 years old, student in the first year of ESTIA engineering school in Bidart.
